2020 saw the launch of a new society to focus on any form of transportation on Malta from Commercial vehicles to Ferries and buses. Since then we have continued to build on the MTN magazine which is core to our offering.

Malta has a rich transport history, and 2020 was the 100th anniversary of the second wave of Motorbus operation. However, the Society is about more than the islands bus operation, as all types of transport form part of the coverage the Society are looking to provide. The Society was created to illustrate and capture the past, present and the future of transport on the Maltese Island building on what is available today in MTN.
The Society aims to work alongside the Malta Bus Archive a Malta National Archives Project in Rabat as we continue to work to document this rich and varied history.
In 2021, the Society took over the production of the MTN quarterly magazine from Buses Worldwide. Despite this change the team working on the creation of the magazine has not changed.
In 2022 we released our first commercial book, Maltese Transport The Ergomatics, the next publication will be in 2024 with an updated Malta and Gozo Fleetbook.
Details of the current MTN issue is on the home page and details of our Facebook Group are above.
